About Me

Hey, I’m Olivia! But you can call me OJ.

I started this blog after hitting a wall. Mentally, emotionally, all of it. I’ve lived with anxiety, depression, and BPD for most of my adult life, and for a long time, I thought burnout was just part of the job. I kept showing up to work, even when I felt empty. Even when I felt numb.

Eventually, I had to learn the hard truth: I am working to live, not living to work.
And the amount of stress I put on myself? Doesn’t change the amount on my paycheck.

I grew up between Ontario and Nova Scotia, playing every sport under the sun (soccer was my first love). These days, I’m in my calm girl era; I like slow weekends by the water, trying new things, and learning how to actually enjoy life without letting work run my mind 24/7.

This blog is where I share what’s helping, the soft habits and mindset shifts that are making my life better, day by day. It’s for anyone who’s felt stuck in survival mode and wants to come back to themselves.

You’ll find a mix of:

  • Workplace wellness (especially for customer service workers, remote babes, and anyone overthinking every email)
  • Mental health tools that actually help on hard days
  • Gentle productivity that doesn’t come with shame or burnout
  • And real-life routines that leave room for joy, not just checklists

Also? We’re not here for hustle culture.

I’m not waking up at 4am to do a 2-hour workout, grind through a 10-hour shift, cook a gourmet dinner in a spotless Pinterest house, and then magically get 8 hours of sleep. That’s not real life. And it’s definitely not the life I want.

Life is meant for smelling the roses, not sacrificing your sanity to make your boss happy.

Let’s break the rules. Let’s ditch the all-or-nothing thinking. Let’s figure out what actually works for us, individually.

We’re not here for perfection.
We’re here to feel better.
And that’s the practice.
